Our History

Hayward Mills Associates was set up on June 28th 1993 by Peter Hayward and Andrew Mills. Peter gained much experience during two lengthy periods of employment with Taylors of Loughborough and in the structural steel trade. Andrew served his apprenticeship as an electrician and later also worked with Taylors. They were joined in 1996 by Michael Semken who gained an HND in Agricultural Engineering at Writtle and a degree in Integrated Engineering (incorporating Materials & Metallurgy, Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and electrical Engineering) from Nottingham Trent University. He is now in charge of the day to day running of the workshop which we bought in June 1997.
