Directions to our workshop when approaching on M1 from South, or A50 from Stoke-on-Trent, or A42 from Birmingham.
From M1 junction 24, take the A453 to Nottingham.
In about 7 miles, after passing Nottingham Trent University campus at Clifton, pass straight over the traffic lights at the bottom of the hill and follow signs for the Ring Road (A6514) in the direction of Mansfield - you will need to get over into the far right hand lane whilst crossing the bridge over the River Trent.
Follow Ring Road past the Showcase Cinema on the left, over the flyover, under an underpass by Queens Medical Centre, around an elongated roundabout, over a railway bridge, straight over the traffic lights by Beechdale Leisure Centre and turn right at the next roundabout. Pass the new sports centre with arched roof on the right and turn right onto the A610 towards the City Centre at the next set of traffic lights.
Pass straight over the next main set of traffic lights, up the hill and turn left into Palin Street by the "Clarence" public house, immediately before the overhead traffic lights of a pedestrian crossing. Cross over the junction with Birkin Avenue, past Palin Court and turn left into the gateway directly opposite the red brick non-conformist church with a tower. Ours is the industrial unit on the left.
Directions to our workshop from the North via the M1.
Leave the M1 at Junction 26 and turn left onto the A610 towards Nottingham City Centre.
After a short length of dual carriageway carry straight on at first roundabout, pass The Phoenix Centre on the left (Millers Barn Beefeater, etc), get over into the central lane of the three lanes and go straight on at the next roundabout. (Watch your speed along this next stretch because they have fitted ‘smart’ speed cameras which check your speed between each pair of cameras all the way to the Ring Road and they all work!).
Pass over two majorish set of lights to bring you down to the Ring Road which you again pass straight over, keeping on the A610 towards the City Centre. After the next set of lights you pass over a bridge, over another main set of lights (with Carphone Warehouse on the far right corner of junction) and start climbing up the hill. Turn left into Palin Street immediately in front of the Clarence Pub/B&B which is next to a large overhead gantry for a set of pedestrian lights. Cross straight over the junction with Birkin Avenue, giving way if necessary as it is a four-way junction which even the locals don’t know how to use properly, pass Palin Court on the left and turn left into the gateway directly opposite the brick non-conformist church with a tower. Ours is the industrial unit on the left of the car park.
